Battery Safety Guide
1. Battery Usage Precautions
-
01 Keep away from flammable and explosive items during charging.
-
02 For batteries that are already cracked, please scrap and dispose of them in a timely manner; they must not be reused.
-
03 Connecting the positive and negative terminals will cause a short circuit, leading to fire and explosion hazards.
-
04 Damage caused by man-made overcharging or over-discharging is not eligible for return or replacement.
-
05 The voltage of the lithium battery must not drop below 3.2V/S. Going below this level will cause permanent damage or even render the battery scrapped.
2. Charging Requirements
-
The charging current must not exceed 1C. Lithium battery packs must be charged using a balance plug/charger.
-
The charging voltage must not exceed the specified voltage. DO NOT OVERCHARGE.
-
Standard LiPo battery: Max 4.2V per cell; High-Voltage (LiHV) LiPo battery: Max 4.35V per cell.
-
-
A certified professional charger must be used, and wiring must strictly follow instructions. Do not reverse the polarity or short-circuit.
-
The temperature of the battery cells during charging must be within the range of 0-45 degrees Celsius.
-
Charging must be monitored at all times to prevent other accidents.
3. Usage Requirements
-
The discharge current must not exceed the product specifications. Excessive current can cause battery swelling, affecting battery lifespan.
-
DO NOT OVER-DISCHARGE lithium batteries. Otherwise, the battery may swell, become unchargeable, or in severe cases, be completely ruined.
-
Standard LiPo battery: Min 3.2V per cell; High-Voltage (LiHV) LiPo battery: Min 3.2V per cell.
-
When the battery drops to the voltages mentioned above, its actual capacity is almost completely depleted and it CANNOT be used further!
-
-
The temperature of the battery cells during discharging must not exceed 65 degrees Celsius.
4. Storage Requirements
-
Batteries must be stored in a dry, cool place with an ambient temperature of 23 plus or minus 5 degrees Celsius.
-
If the battery is not used for a long time, it is recommended to perform a charge-discharge cycle once a month.
-
When not in use for storage, the individual cell voltage of the LiPo battery must be between 3.8-3.9V. Otherwise, the battery is prone to swelling, which affects battery lifespan or may even ruin it.
5. Other Requirements and Disposal
-
Disassembly, impact, or bending of batteries is strictly prohibited. Deformed or swollen batteries are highly flammable and must not be used any further.
-
Short circuits are strictly prohibited. Short-circuiting will cause the battery to burst into flames. Do not throw batteries into fire or liquids.
-
Scrapped batteries must be properly wrapped and placed into dedicated recycling bins.
